Dry Laksa Linguine with Korean Spicy Drumlets

This is the new trend that you have to try. I have encountered menus with Lobster Fried Laksa Spaghetti and Dry Laksa Mee. It is time to unveil this and do it yourself – the easy fast way with #wanicancook Instant Version. You can add anything you want i.e. Lobster, Tiger Prawn, Chicken Cutlet. I know Chicken and Prawn don’t mix well but my favourite is this Korean Chicken Drumlets (you can find the instant recipe of that under Instant Version category too). So I wanted to eat them together with my dish so there’s that.

20 mins | Serves 2-3

Ingredients:

  • 1 pkt PrimaTaste Laksa set (i like this kit because it has the coconut premix inside alr so i don’t need to think abt adding the coconut milk anymore. if u wish to use other laksa paste also can, just add one small box of coconut milk the 200ml one)
  • drizzle oil
  • 6pcs dried shrimp
  • 2 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 tbs sambal paste/ sambal belacan
  • 1 cup prawns, deshelled
  • 1 cup water/ chicken/prawn broth
  • 1/2 pkt linguine, boiled
  • a bunch laksa leaves, thinly chopped

Step 1: Drizzle oil on med heat. Toss in shrimp, garlic, sambal paste and the laksa set premix and paste. Stir until aroma rises. Add in water to stop from overcooking the paste.

Step 2: Toss in linguine, prawns and laksa leaves. Mix well.

Extra Ingredients:

  • 3 hard boiled eggs, cut into halves
  • few pcs of Korean Chicken Drumlets

Step 3: Plate the dry laksa linguine. Add the hard boiled eggs and chicken drumlets on the side.
