Put that emotion in the food, because it’s so much more rewarding down the line.

This is the first post on my new blog. I’m just getting this new blog going, so stay tuned for more. Subscribe below to get notified when I post new updates.
This blog is a common ground where I will be sharing all my halal-based recipes and research and of course, my obsession with food. Many of you have heard of my well-known hashtag; #wanicancook. This blog offers the underground works of every dish I made into its simplest form so that you can learn how to cook as well and deliver similarly wonderful dishes to surprise your family and friends.
I’m gonna add a disclaimer here – my recipes are mostly halal or at the most no pork no lard based. However, I’m not into making sure vegetables or drinks have to have the halal chop so please don’t judge. If you really need to make sure everything has the halal chop, then you may find some ingredients that I’m using might not have the halal chop in Singapore but don’t worry you can find the halal substitutes in JB.
I used a unique method in portraying my recipes. The ingredients will be available at the end of the recipe, you can scroll all the way down. I will start off with a segment of the ingredients and the steps to deal with the ingredients. I believe that you should be able to see the steps first before you get your grocery list up and running.
Mise en place is very important so make sure you have your ingredients sliced or diced the right way before you start with the steps. I hope my recipes will be easy for you to follow and of course, the dish outcome will be magnifique. Remember to post and add the hashtag #wanicancook!
